Working as a designer in digital marketing, I’ve produced a diverse range of interactive projects and digital experiences as part of campaigns for clients. These include engaging interactive maps, simple and compelling minigames and dynamic landing pages, all designed to drive engagement and gain links.
Collaborating with developers, I’ve consistently delivered innovative and effective solutions that enhance brand presence and achieve objectives. These projects have been featured across numerous publications including Visual Capitalist, Creativebloq and Designboom.
The Apple Car
A highly successful campaign that used genuine patents filed by Apple Inc to envision how the anticipated Apple Car might have looked on launch.
Collaborating with a dynamic team of other marketers and orchestrating seamless communication with a skilled freelancer to bring the model and the campaign to life. Additionally, I created a sleek and intuitive user interface, designed to complement the core imagery without overshadowing it.
car companies vs countries
Interactive map and dashboard exploring the revenue of the world’s top carmakers, and comparing each company’s revenue to the gross domestic product (GDP) of 196 countries worldwide.
In leading this project, I created the the visual aesthetic, and applying it into a responsive user interface which showcases the data in a clear and defined way but also fosters interaction and user engagement.
The Speed dating app
As part of an engaging content marketing campaign showcasing a fictional dating app tailored for car enthusiasts, we aimed to inspire individuals to discover their ideal partner through a shared passion for automobiles.
This project involved creating multiple user interface screens, defining the app’s distinctive style and visual persona, and designing an engaging landing page that served as a gateway for users to express their interest, while also offering a glimpse into the app’s anticipated features.
Government EV Adoption
Designing a data visualisation interface delving into the progressive strides of European governments towards embracing and championing the adoption of electric vehicles.
Leading on the project, I created a responsive interface that leverages colour and shade to display the data in a clear way on the surface, whilst encouraging users to hover and click through to explore specific information. Having the data and colours consistent across different interfaces allows for a seamless experience whilst also showing a variety of visualisations.
You vs EVs
Creating a minigame that challenges users to a drag race against the fastest EVs in the world, with the aim of beating them to the finish line by scrolling as fast as possible.
To ensure seamless user engagement the game controls and UI are very simple and intuitive, whilst a car and theme selector were added to encourage personalisation and add depth.
The overall aesthetic was inspired by retro gaming and arcades, linking directly to the theme of the piece whilst also aiming to evoke feelings of nostalgia and familiarity and increase interest.
